Case Study: Resolving Long-Standing Acne
How a targeted dietary investigation and gut protocol helped Sofia overcome 4 years of recurring skin flare-ups.

Sofia came to me looking for help with acne which had been present on and off for four years, mainly occurring on her forehead, cheeks, and chest.
She told me that the issue had worsened over the past 12 months, coinciding with a stressful period and a shift towards eating a predominantly plant-based diet.
The conventional treatment from her doctor, which consisted of a prescribed antibiotic cream, had left her skin irritated and was not a safe long-term solution. Sofia had already tried a 30-day sugar and refined carb elimination but was still consuming large amounts of high-glycaemic dried fruits and honey.
Connecting Diet, Insulin and Sebum
Cow's dairy contains whey and casein; whey drives blood insulin levels, while casein influences IGF-1, both of which can stimulate excess sebum production. Similarly, blood sugar spikes trigger systemic inflammation.
Using nutritional therapy and bioresonance assessment, we tailored Sofia's macronutrient balance, replaced refined sugars with whole low-glycaemic foods, supported her liver detoxification pathways and restored gut microbiome balance.
Within 8 weeks, her skin inflammation cleared substantially, her digestive comfort improved, and she developed lasting confidence in how to nourish her body.
